LowSup Ocean Blue Keycaps: Three Shades, One Ocean
Low-profile keyboards are gaining popularity for their slim and portable design, but the keycap options on the market are still surprisingly limited. Most are just solid-colored plastics with cheap, glossy injection molding—either too plain or looking incredibly cheap. LowSup OceanBlue is Lele Design's answer: a set built around light, texture, and depth, inspired by the ocean itself.
Three Depths, Three Textures
Frosted Translucent Light Blue The shallows. Sunlight hitting the surface, light scattering through the keycap. Soft, airy, almost weightless.
Frosted Translucent Blue Deeper water. Light turns soft and diffused. A subtle grain gives it a breathing, textured feel — calm and enveloping.
Solid Dark Blue The seabed. Cool, restrained, solid. A glossy finish gives it a smooth, porcelain-like touch under the fingertip — the anchor of the set.
Why PC Material
- Optical clarity — PC lets light pass through and scatter, which is what makes the frosted/translucent effect possible. ABS can't do this the same way.
- Durability — more impact-resistant and wear-resistant than ABS, so the frosted finish stays frosted.
- Sound — sharper, more focused acoustics on keystroke.
